Carina Bañuelos-Harrison is a bilingual, bicultural artist, curator, photographer, and arts administrator with 19 years of experience. As the daughter of Mexican and Indigenous parents, her work is deeply influenced by her roots in the land and culture of her ancestors. Education was instilled in her as a young child, shaping her understanding of the transformative power of knowledge and creativity. Carina founded Art and Color Collective as a response to the exclusion of marginalized voices in the arts. She works tirelessly to ensure that artists from historically overlooked communities are given the platforms they deserve.
